Earlier today, following last night’s conclusion of pod2g’s poll, which was intended to let the Jailbreak community decide whether the untethered exploits pod2g has discovered will go towards a 5.1 or iOS 6 Jailbreak, pod2g Tweeted that his iPhone 4 is running on 5.1 with an untethered Jailbreak.
While the poll officially closed hours ago with the community demanding a 5.1 untethered Jailbreak, until now, pod2g hadn’t commented on the situation.
In his Tweet, pictured above, pod2g said the following:
Heya! My iPhone 4 running iOS 5.1 is now untethered
Apparently, pod2g will indeed follow through with the results of the poll by continuing to develop a new 5.1 untethered Jailbreak utility.
However, despite pod2g’s success with his own iPhone 4, there’s still presumably a lot of work that needs to be done prior to the release of a utility.
